POLICY GUIDELINES

Advance payment is required on new display accounts. We reserve the right to refuse advertising that we consider inappropriate for any reason. Our policy prohibits acceptance of “personals” or advertising for 900 numbers. We may request samples of unknown mail-order merchandise before accepting advertising. For display ads, one tear sheet will be provided with invoice unless otherwise requested by agency.

Wisconsin Energy Cooperative News is published monthly, reaching readers by the first of the month. Deadline for space reservations for display ads is the 20th of the month, two months prior to the issue date (e.g., May 20 for July issue). The deadline for artwork is the 1st of the month prior to the issue date. The classified ad deadline is the first day of the month prior to date of issue (e.g., May 1 for the June issue).

SUBSCRIPTION RATES

Subscriptions for those who are not members of participating rural electric co-ops are $10 per year (12 issues), or $28 for three years (36 issues).

No special positions are guaranteed other than back and inside covers. Coupon backup will be avoided if specified on the insertion order.

If you have an FTP site, you may provide us with the website and instructions for access and we will download the file. CLASSIFIED ADS

Classified ads from members of co-ops that subscribe to WECN are a minimum of $11 per insertion for 20 or fewer words. Additional words are $.55 per word. As proof of membership, enclose the address label from your magazine. Non-member classified ads are a minimum of $22 per insertion for 20 or fewer words. Additional words are $1.10 per word. Frequency discounts apply to classifieds. Classified ads must be paid in advance. No agency commissions or other discounts (except frequency discounts) are allowed. Proofs are not provided prior to publication.

CLASSIFIED DISPLAY ADS

Display ads of 2-1/4 inch x 2 inch or less may be placed in the classified section at the editor’s discretion. Advertisers may specifically request such placement for ads 2-1/4 inch x 2 inch or less.
