Wisconsin Energy Cooperative News (formerly Wisconsin R.E.C. News) was established in 1940 and is published for the Wisconsin Electric Cooperative Association by the Wisconsin Federation of Cooperatives. Wisconsin Energy Cooperative News has earned its reputation as a reliable, people-oriented publication whose focus is rural, non-rural, and statewide issues that effect electric cooperatives. Recognized for quality editorial content; clear, color photography; and captivating features, Wisconsin Energy Cooperative News provides a composite view of rural Wisconsin to more than 157,000 subscribers. It is many publications in one, with 18 separate local editions featuring pages prepared by individual electric co-ops in Wisconsin. Our priority is to promote the general welfare of cooperatives, their member-owners, and the area they serve.
