Homemade V8 Juice
Mrs. Duane Adams, Soldiers Grove
12 lbs. tomatoes (24 lg. sized)
1 cup carrots, chopped
1 cup celery, chopped
1 cup onions, chopped
4 tsp. salt
4 Tbsp. lemon juice
2 tsp. Worchestershire sauce
Dash of hot pepper seasoning |
Bring all ingredients to a boil. Lower
the heat and cook 25 minutes. Press through strainer. Ladle
into quart jars. Process 5 minutes per quart in hot water
bath.
