Cream the sugar and butter.
Then add sour cream and baking soda. Add eggs and mix. Add
flour and mix. Drop by rounded spoonfuls (about the size
of a plum) and bake at 350 degrees for 14 minutes. Note:
Adjust the baking time if your cookies are larger or smaller.
Frost with powdered sugar/milk mixture. The biggest challenge
is getting it thin enough to spread frosting on cookie,
but not too thick so it all runs off the cookie. Decorate
with red hots or other decorations.
Alternate method: Refrigerate
dough for 1 hour. Roll out dough and cut out cookies. Bake
at 350 degrees for 8 minutes. Frost and decorate.
