Better Than ? Cake 1
Mona, Edgerton

1 pkg. yellow cake mix
20 oz. can crushed pineapple in juice
3/4 cup sugar
2 small pkgs. instant vanilla pudding
3 cups milk
3 cups whipped topping (Cool Whip)
3/4 cup powdered sugar
1 tsp. vanilla
3/4 cup toasted flake coconut, optional

Bake cake in 9-x13-inch pan as instructed on package. Combine undrained pineapple and granulated sugar. Cook over medium heat, stirring occasionally until thick and syrupy, about 20 minutes. Pierce warm cake with fork at 1-inch spaces. Pour pineapple mixture evenly over cake. Cool completely. Combine pudding mix and milk. Blend until thick. Spread pudding over cooled cake. Combine powdered sugar, whipped topping, and vanilla. Beat until stiff. Spread over pudding. Sprinkle with toasted coconut. Refrigerate for 24 hours. Enjoy!
