3 Tbsp. butter or margarine
1 pkg. (10–12 oz.) miniature marshmallows
1/2 cup peanut butter
5 cups Cheerios
1 cup plain M&M’s
Microwave butter and marshmallows until puffy. Stir in peanut butter until blended. Add cereal and M&M’s. Put in a greased 9-x13-inch pan. Cool before cutting.
Variation: Instead of putting M&M’s in, you can melt 1 cup chocolate chips and 1 cup butterscotch chips together and spread on top.
