Soak the gelatin in cold water for 5 minutes.
Boil the sugar, chocolate, hot milk, coffee, and salt. Add
the softened gelatin to this mixture, stirring thoroughly.
Allow to cool, add the vanilla, and as the mixture begins
to thicken, fold in the whipped cream. Fill a baked 9-inch
pie shell or crumb crust. Chill; garnish with whipped cream.
