Mix the above ingredients. Roll out flat
on floured surface and cut out with doughnut cutter. Drop
into Fry Daddy for about 3 minutes (time may vary, depending
on the fryer and your dough thickness). After placing doughnuts
on paper towels and cooled slightly, you may shake them
in a large baggy of sugar (and cinnamon) for sugar doughnuts.
If you want cream-filled doughnuts, you can fill them with
whip cream or use the following recipe:
Cream Filling
1/2 cup milk
2-1/2 Tbsp. flour
1 Tbsp. butter/margarine
2 heaping Tbsp. sugar
1 Tbsp. vanilla
|
Cook in saucepan, stirring constantly until
thickened. You can then cover the hole you made for filling
by melting real chocolate chips or making a chocolate frosting
and spreading this on top of the doughnuts.
