2 cups flour 1 cup salted butter, softened 8 oz. cream cheese, softened 1/2 tsp. baking powder 2 Tbsp. confectioner’s sugar 1 egg yolk Solo fillings, prune, raspberry, apricot, etc.

Sift flour, baking powder, and confectioner’s sugar. Cream butter and cream cheese. Add beaten egg yolk. Add flour mixture. Knead until smooth. Roll out to 1/4-inch thick. Cut with 2 inch round cookie cutter. Place on ungreased cookie sheet and make a depression in center with thumb. Add about 1/2 tsp. filling in depression. Bake at 400 degrees for 10 minutes. When cool, sprinkle with confectioner’s sugar. Makes approximately 4 dozen.
