Lazy Dazy Cake

Prepare a white or yellow round layer cake and bake as usual.
Topping:
2/3 cup brown sugar
1/3 cup butter or oleo
1/4 cup milk (scant)
1 cup coconut
1/2 tsp. vanilla |
Heat all topping ingredients in a pan to a slow boil. Spread on warm cake. Turn cake to oven and broil for 2 to 3 minutes.
