Coconut Macaroons
1 cup flaked coconut
3/4 cup sugar
3 egg whites
3 Tbsp. flour
1/2 tsp. vanilla |
Combine coconut, sugar, and unbeaten egg
whites. Cook 4-5 minutes at a low heat until fluffy. DO NOT
BOIL. Stir constantly. Remove from heat and stir in flour
and vanilla. Drop level teaspoons of batter 2 inches apart
on greased and floured cookie sheets. Let stand for 1 hour.
Bake at 300 degrees for 20-25 minutes. Remove immediately
from cookie sheets.
