Pecan Fingers
1 cup butter
1/4 cup powdered sugar
1/4 tsp. salt
1 tsp. vanilla
1 tsp. water
2 cups sifted flour
2 cups pecans, grated or finely chopped
Powdered sugar |
Cream butter; add sugar, salt, vanilla, and
water. Blend. Add flour and pecans and mix well. Chill if
dough is soft. Shape into fingers (like long ovals). Use level
teaspoonful of dough. Place on ungreased cookie sheets. Bake
at 350 degrees for about 15 minutes. Roll in powdered sugar.
