Pumpkin Bread

2 eggs, beaten.
2-1/2 cups flour, sifted.
1-1/2 cups Wheat Chex or similar breakfast cereal.
1-1/4 cups brown sugar.
1 cup canned, 100-percent pure pumpkin.
3/4 cup sweetened dried cranberries or raisins, coarsely chopped.
1/2 cup milk.
1/4 cup vegetable oil.
2-1/2 tsp. baking powder.
1 tsp. salt.
1/2 tsp. baking soda.
1/2 tsp. cinnamon.
1/4 tsp. nutmeg.

Preheat oven to 350°F. Sift together flour, baking powder, salt, baking soda, and spices. Combine eggs, milk, oil, pumpkin, and brown sugar. Stir in cereal and dried cranberries or raisins. Add dry ingredients. Stir until moistened. Turn into a greased pan and bake for 60 minutes. Allow to cool for 15 minutes. Remove from pan and serve.
