Sour Cream Pie

1 egg
1-1/2 cups brown sugar
1-1/2 cups raisins, chopped
1 cup sour cream
1 tsp. vinegar
1 tsp. cinnamon
1/2 tsp. clove
1/2 tsp. allspice
1/2 tsp. salt

Mix and roll out pastry shell. Put in filling mixed in order given. Bake in a hot oven (450 degrees) for 10 minutes then bake in a moderate oven until done.

Note: This appeared in a 1939 recipe book from Rutland, Vermont. It assumes you can make a pastry shell.
