Tangy Berries and Cream

1 cup plain yogurt
1/4 cup dark brown sugar, packed
3/4 cup whipping cream
1 tsp. vanilla
1-1/2 cups fresh strawberries, sliced and divided
1-1/2 cups blueberries, washed, divided

In small bowl, whisk together yogurt and brown sugar; refrigerate. In chilled mixing bowl, beat whipping cream until it begins to thicken. Add vanilla and beat until stiff peaks form. Fold in yogurt mixture, 1/2 cup strawberries, and 1/2 cup blueberries. Pour into 4 serving dishes, top with remaining fruit, and serve. Serves 4.

Tip: Mixture can be used as filling for pies or tarts.
