Whoopie Bars
Sandy Crabtree, Leadmine
2/3 cup
margarine
3/4 cup sugar
1 egg
1 tsp. vanilla
1 cup milk
2-1/4 cups flour
1 cup Nestle’s Quick
1 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. baking soda
Filling
3/4 cup margarine
2 cups powdered sugar
2 cups or small jar marshmallow cream

Cream margarine and sugar. Beat in egg
and vanilla. Combine dry ingredients and add to creamed
mixture alternately with milk. Drop by teaspoonfuls on greased
cookie sheet. Bake 8 minutes in 400-degree oven. Cool. Mix
filling ingredients together and spread between 2 cookies.
Makes 2 dozen filled cookies. Store where dry and cool.
