Baked Egg Dish
Dianne, Racine

5 slices bacon, cut up, browned, and drained
5 eggs
1/2 cup milk
3 cups Southern-style seasoned hash browns
1/2 tsp. salt
1 tsp. onion powder
1-1/2 cups sharp Cheddar cheese, shredded

Mix eggs with milk, then stir in hash browns, salt, onion powder, 1 cup cheese, and 1/2 of the bacon. Pour into a greased 9x9-inch baking dish and bake in a preheated 350-degree oven until center is set (about 30 minutes). Take out and sprinkle the other half of bacon on top along with remaining 1/2 cup cheese. Return to oven and bake until cheese is melted. Cut into squares and serve along with toast or biscuits
