Mix butter and seasonings. Keep warm
so butter does not solidify. Split bird in half lengthwise
and place on foil-covered broiler pan. Brush basting
mixture over halves thoroughly. Place under broiler
8-10 minutes. When lightly brown, turn and baste; then
broil 8 minutes more. Bird should be just right by then;
if not, cook a little longer, but do not overcook.
