Crunchy French Toast
Dianne, Racine

3 eggs
1 cup half and half
2 Tbsp. sugar
1 tsp. vanilla
1/4 tsp. salt
3 cups corn flakes, crushed
1 loaf Texas-style bread

Mix eggs, half and half, sugar, vanilla, salt; set aside. Crush corn flakes and put in a separate bowl. Take slices of bread and dip in egg mixture and then in crushed corn flakes. Place on an ungreased cookie sheet and place in refrigerator. The next morning, take out and place in a preheated 350 degree oven and bake for 10 minutes; flip over and bake another 10 minutes. Serve with meat of your choice and a variety of flavored syrups.
