Fried Chicken Deluxe

1 frying chicken, cut in pieces
For batter, mix:
1 egg
3/4 cup milk
3 Tbsp. melted Crisco

1 cup
sifted flour
1/4 tsp. salt
2 tsp. sugar
Crisco for deep frying |
Steam chicken 20 to 25 minutes. Salt chicken after steaming.
Dip in batter. Deep fry until golden brown.
