Squab Pot Pie
4 squab, cleaned and disjointed
3 carrots, diced
2 potatoes, cubed
1 large onion, chopped
1/4 lb. butter or margarine, melted
1 can biscuits |
Cut up squab; sprinkle with salt, pepper,
and flour; brown lightly in skillet. Cover with boiling
water, add vegetables, and simmer for 30 minutes. Put
in casserole dish. Add butter and arrange biscuits to
cover the top. Place in pre-heated oven at 400 degrees
and bake until biscuits are browned. Serves 4.
