Stuffed Cheeseburgers

1 pkg. (about 1-1/4 pounds) ground chicken
2 Tbsp. bottled steak sauce
1 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. ground pepper
1 cup shredded Cheddar cheese, divided
4 hamburger buns, toasted
Optional condiments: onion, tomato and ketchup

Prepare lightly greased grill for cooking. In medium bowl, combine ground turkey and seasonings. Divide mixture into 8 portions; form into 8 thin burgers. Mound 2 Tbsp. cheese on each of 4 burgers and top with a second burger. Pinch edges shut to seal cheese inside meat. Place at center of grill. Grill, uncovered, 5 to 6 inches over medium-high heat 5 minutes. Turn burgers and top with remaining cheese. Continue grilling 10 minutes longer or until burgers are cooked through and spring back when touched. Serve on hamburger buns with condiments. Serves 4.
