Black Walnut Bread

2 cups sugar
1-1/2 cups oil
4 eggs
1 cup milk
3 cups flour

1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. vanilla
1 tsp. baking soda
1/2 to 3/4 cup chopped black walnuts

   Combine sugar, oil, and eggs. Beat well; add milk and stir in flour. Add salt, vanilla, and baking soda. Stir and add nuts. Do not over-mix. Pour into 2 greased 8x4x3-inch tins. Bake at 325 degrees for 35 minutes.
