Chow-Chow
12 large green tomatoes 4 large onions 4 green peppers (sweet ones) 1 red pepper (hot one)
1 Tbsp. salt 1 cup sugar 2 cups vinegar Dash of turmeric
Grind, drain, mix all together, and cook (just let come to the boiling point). Seal while hot. Makes approximately 4 pts.
