1/2 cup honey
1/2 tsp. salt
12 medium-sized beets

2 Tbsp. butter
1/2 Tbsp. cornstarch
1/4 cup lemon juice
2 Tbsp. water
Melt butter and blend in cornstarch. Gradually stir in lemon
juice, water, and honey. Stir until mixture boils and begins
to thicken. Boil about 2 min., stirring continually. Add
salt. Add beets; heat thoroughly. Serve hot. Yields 6 servings.
