  Irish Soda Bread
Judith Kohn, Wautoma

3-1/2 cups flour
2/3 cup sugar
1 tsp. salt
1 Tbsp. baking powder
1 tsp. baking soda
1-1/2 cup golden raisins or 3/4 each raisins and currants
1 Tbsp. dill seeds
1-1/2 cup buttermilk
2 Tbsp. butter, melted
2 eggs, beaten

Sift dry ingredients together. Add raisins/currants and dill seeds. Add buttermilk and melted butter to flour mixture; combine well. Pour into greased bread pan. Bake in a 375 degree oven for 1 hour or until toothpick comes out clean.
