  Mom’s Tomato Marmalade
Mary Zackow, Neillsville

2-3/4 cup peeled, seeded, chopped tomatoes
1/2 lemon, sliced really thin then quartered
1/2 orange, sliced really thin then quartered
1/4 tsp. cinnamon
1 pkg. regular Sure-gel
4-1/2 cups sugar

Place tomatoes, lemon and orange slices, cinnamon, and Sure-gel in a 4–5 quart sauce pan. Bring to a boil, stirring constantly. Add sugar all at once and stir constantly to a boil. Stir and boil 1 minute. Skim any foam. Put in sterile jars and cover with lids and bands. Water bath in 8 oz. jars for 5 minutes. Store up to 1 year.
