1/4 cup salad oil
1 clove garlic, minced
1 medium onion, chopped
28 oz. pear-shaped tomatoes, chopped
6 oz. tomato paste
1 tsp. dry basil
1 cup water
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. dry parsley
1/2 tsp. black pepper

Brown onion and garlic in hot oil.
Add meat. Add chopped tomatoes, tomato paste, and water.
Add parsley, basil, salt, and pepper. Simmer 60 minutes
stirring occasionally.
